bill moyers interviewed him in 1976 and actually on the dvd there's a 15-minute conversation between moyers and humphrey, a cut from the bill moyers journal, and as a bonus thing, and he, you know, he just -- they talked about johnson and they both agreed that he could be -- you know, it was almost like abusive relationship with people. he would be very kind and loving and then you'd do something wrong and then he'd shut you out for the next two months and then he'd come back and so you never knew where you stood with him. >> by the way, if somebody wants this documentary, can they buy it? >> shop pbs.org or 1-800-shoppbs. >> and how much is it? >> it's pretty much everywhere. >> here is -- as everybody knows at least our age that hubert humphrey ran for president in '68, but here's this difficulty of going in and out of vietnam and what he sees from your documentary. >> position to the war grew and since humphrey was defending it, humphrey lost his credibility with not only his traditional liberal constituencies but many others as well. >> humphrey, remember, had positioned himself

. >> bill moyer's running that? >> he's the president, right.e me a large sum in the middle that helped. minnesota humanities commission, minnesota historical society, the south dakota humanities commission, afl-cio, i got it from all kinds of places, andreas foundation and dwayne andreas family and his brother, just from all over the place. it ended up being about $600,000 and about $200,000 i would say in kind. >> i assume there was never a time when this wasn't going to be a positive look at hubert humphries. >> well, i started off oth otherwise. i wanted to otherwise, but i couldn't find anybody that didn't like him. they were all in love with him. the closer they got to him, the more they liked him. it's hard to do a story about someone who was a good person, it's much easier if there are affairs and murders and all kinds of other things, it's much more sensational. but i couldn't really find much. he had flaws and made mistakes. and, in fact, i asked bill moyers that, did he do anything bad. i can't say anything bad him, because he wasn't

bill clinton in 1995. >> in washington today the president is imposing moyer sanctions on iran's oil exports, that after determining there is crude oil on the world market for united states and its allies. sanctions affect foreign banks continuing to buy oil from iran. this is ice yol yaiting iran's central bank. they hope to convince israel to give sanctions time to work before launching a strike on iran's nuclear facility autos osama bin laden not only fathered four children on the run from u.s. forces two, of the children were born in pakistani hospitals. that information comes from the youngest of bin laden's four wives who bore the children. she and other as rested following assault on bin laden's compound. the 30-year-old told investigators she delivered two children in state hospitals and stayed just hours. she also said bin laden moved to the compound in 2005, a time when most american officials believed he was living and hiding in a cave. >> the supreme court is likely to decide the fate of the president's health care reform law today. we won't hear results for months. the nine justices will me
