chief bill scott said that officers are actually trained to prioritize stopping a threat when they'refronted with an active attacker. well, 2 people in downtown walnut creek were robbed at gunpoint after leaving dinner. that happened wednesday night. right near the intersection of botelho drive and locust street in broadway plaza. police say 2 men approached the victims, pointed a gun and demanded that they give up their belongings. the suspects then got into a nearby white sedan and took off. the victims weren't physically injured, but obviously emotionally traumatized. anyone with information is urged to contact walnut creek police, if you know who was behind this. in the south bay, 2 women were arrested for organized retail theft and grand theft at the great mall in milpitas. police say a patrol officer stopped the car that the women were in and inside discovered nearly $1900 worth of merchandise that they believe came from a nearby marshals. the women also had a tool that was used to remove security sensors. this happened wednesday. police say one of them had a felony warrant for

san francisco police chief bill scott and district attorney brooke jenkins confirmed the arrest of 21 year old santos de la rosa of hollister. he is charged with murder, robbery and assault. de la rosa is suspected of beating the 60 year old richmond district store clerk johannes tebaldi with a baseball bat on august 24th. tebaldi died several days later. there's no place for this kind of violence in our city in anyone who commits these types of heinous acts will be arrested and held accountable. now, investigators identified de la rosa as the suspect and arrested him on wednesday. san francisco mayor london breed says this attack has shaken the community. breed wrote, we will not accept any acts of violence in our city. our public safety agencies will work to make arrests and prosecute those who commit these violent crimes. our time now for 35. a suspect now in custody in connection with a deadly stabbing outside of a mobile home park in union city. one person was killed, two others were hurt. this happened yesterday morning at the tropics mobile home park on aladdin boulevard, not f
