let's take a look at san jose right now from black mountain. you can see the haze on the horizon. this is where the air quality was at its worst today, not dreadful, but also not good. another spare the air alert is on the way for tomorrow. inland heat advisory is in effect tomorrow and saturday as well. but this will be an inland event. not as severe as the neck stretches of hot weather. the heat dome is just far enough away that it does retreat after it sends triple digit temperatures into parts of the bay area, including the tri-valley and the delta. concord will get up to 100 degrees tomorrow and saturday before we are right back to around normal for that last full week of july and even the last weekend of july. if we get through the next couple of days, then it is normally warm and hot for late july standards. in terms of the heat risk, the past couple heat waves we have had a high heat risk for many inland parts. it will top out in the moderate category in our neck of the woods. high heat risk for other parts of california. by sunday the heat risk begins to back down and we
