[applause] she is a real star and we're lucky to have her come in. we've brought in a man named kevin jenings. and i try to bring in who it's personal. it's personal to alexis. she started yesterday to run elementary and secondry, was an ell student who was told she couldn't go to college and ends up getting a phd from ucla. kevin as a child was bullied, overcame situations at home and went on to be successful. you have people who have lived this, have been on the receiving end and have this is very, very personal. i look forward to their leadership to help us look at a comprehensive approach to make sure we get every child not even in school but to and from school. we have to make sure our schools are safe. we can't be satisfied. we have a lot of hard work to do but i promi
