explain exactly what a blizzard watch means. >> of course that means there's the possibility of blizzard like conditions in parts of the area and that includes the heavy snow but it also includes very strong winds and low visibility. that becomes more dangerous than just a regular heavy snowstorm because you can deal with just the snow. there is a blizzard watch in effect. we'll show you just the areas that are going to get it. and many parts of our area are going to get 10 inches of snow or more and there's likely to be some major coastal flooding, at least in parts of our area. the blizzard not only includes very heavy snow, it includes wind gusts up to 35 miles an hour or greater for a period of three hours or more and low visibility, a quarter mile visibility or less. so when the wind is blowing real strong and the visibility is bad, you can't see right in front of you so that's what makes it more dangerous than just if snow was falling straight down. the blizzard watch continues across the i-95 area from lower bucks, lower mount gulf of mexicory, chester county, the northern half of
