this has turned into a bloody battle surrounding a blogger who posted a video of cochran's wife onlines severe dementia. the blogger has been charged in the case along with three other people, including the vice chairman of the mississippi tea party, mark mayfield, who is also a volunteer for challenger chris mc done -- mc daniels' campaign. the campaign charged that mc daniel knew about the video posted online and should have alerted authorities. cochran campaign did tell authorities about the video, although not for three weeks until after they learned about it. >> our campaign's actions helped result in an arrest and chris mc daniels' campaign did nothing. we think that's a big distinction. >> mc daniels' campaign has refused an interview about this case. we had an interview booked with senator cochran. they cancelled citing the ongoing investigation. as to the issues in the case, they've been pushed in the background. senator cochran is asking for a seventh term based on his record promising if he becomes chairman of the appropriations committee, he will do right by mississippi. ch
