this is bloomberg. ♪ ♪ anna: welcome back to "bloomberg markets: european open."s to go until the start of trading for europe. european equity market futures point to the downside. what should we be watching for this week? i know we have some auctions coming up, which given the conversation, we spent a lot of time on 10 year yields in the last half of the program, you have to wonder about this price. mark: i think 10 year yields are going to go a lot higher, the curve is going to steepen a lot. i wrote a piece that we are going to see much higher long and yields. the reaction out of asian investors, based on a small sample base, is the idea that they're looking to kind of buy this dip in treasuries. they are looking appealingly at those higher yields as a chance to jump in. this is particularly important for an auction. at a chance for big investors to take down a big chunk of liquidity without disrupting the market. if they are excited by the yield, they certainly bid very aggressively. at the 30 year option, based on where yields are now, it will be the highest
