. >> the headline on one of your many stories at bloomberg.com reads democrats refine contempt charges against william barr and don mcgann. what have they refined? what will we see on the house floor? >> there are a couple of changes to the criminal contempt resolution, which could have led to criminal charges against william barr for not producing the documents. they are going to the floor on tuesday, a full house vote on what is essentially a civil process to allow the committee and other committees to launch legal proceedings in federal court to get the documents and testimony they are seeking. because theynge realize the attorney general, if he were to be held criminally, would have to be prosecuted by the justice department, which he runs, and it is unlikely they would take any action against him. also believe they created a new process in this resolution where committee chairman no longer even have to hold committee votes but floor votes to try to get movement from a special committee, which is basically run by speaker pelosi to get permission to intervene or launch legal action
