mayor of millbrae plans to discuss short-term rentals after house party over the weekend at an air bnb ended in gunfire. neighbors saw guests show up at the home on saturday. they say the property was littered with beer in champaign bottles. then they heard gunfire about 1:30 am sunday morning. >> eight gunshots. i was shocked. i ran into the house and called 911. they said they were getting multiple calls. the san mateo sheriff's office arrived on the scene but was not able to make any arrests. deputies collected evidence including shell casings. the mayor of millbrae says the city is investigating and does have rules in connection to short-term rentals. >> we want to alert anyone out there, if you are doing this currently within the boundaries of millbrae, you need to get a business license so we know who is operating temporary rentals. public safety is first and foremost, as always. we are taking this very seriously. >> angry neighbors voiced their concerns at last night's "mornings on 2" city council meeting. they say more needs to be done to protect homeowners who live near short-
