i'd like to thank our mayor, my colleagues on the board of supervisors, the clerk of the board and her, our city departments, community partners and our covid command center for making sure city services, covid testing, vaccines, food access and economic assistance was acceptable for our san francisco residents. many heros have stepped up and to those who work to execute city services, i want to publicly say thank you. san francisco is the first city to reach over 80% of eligible residents vaccinated with at least one dose. we have one of the highest rates of vaccinations in the country. the residents and health professionals in the city really stepped up. thank you to my colleagues for increasing evictions protections, providing family relief and shelter in place hotels for the unhoused population so we can prevent people from living on the streets. i'm looking forward to our city thriving again. but we are not fully out of the woods yet. so we must remain vigilant, urging our friends, relatives and neighbors to get vaccinated if they haven't. and continue to support our residents, sm

it's not even just within your campus that it can expand beyond that with a board of trustees or a board of governors. so there are many opportunities for things that are things that are hard to pin down in terms of what people's motivations really are. that can completely undermine and sabotage a case of a did with 100 joan. let me bring some of the students and then north university of north carolina chapel hill, the journey students. this is what they had to say about this situation. and then i'm going to get you marlena, it's come off the back of it. listen. it's very interesting that nicole had a jones would go through the entire tenure process with overwhelming support. and the tenure process is very complicated. one, it's not just a one vote and done kind of thing. you have to go through many different committees, many different folks. and she received overwhelming support at every step of the way and now for her to get to the board of trustees. and for them to say, no, it's just a very strange, it's a very strange dynamic. we'll continue to see the repercussions of this. this isn

so we do need you to right away to make that request to the board. it could be done through an sfpuc m.o.u., but that process has been pretty clunky in the past, so it might make more sense to just have the board to directly -- direct the funding to lafco to do a build-out plan so that lafco could take the lead on that. sfpuc and its staff have done a good job of getting the program off the ground and keeping it alive, and that's what they need to stay focused on is this competition with pg&e and making sure that they're giving costs -- cost sensitive reliable service to customers. we need the board of supervisors and lafco to direct the build-out process because that's a bigger picture thing that the whole city family needs to be part of, including agencies like the san francisco environment. so let's make sure and right away to get that bigger budget request from the board of supervisors, however you decide that you're going to do it, we need it to happen so that we can get this off the ground and get what the letter is asking for by this summer. t

so periodically the board secretary may forward sunshine questions -- requests to the board and the board must search any device that might hold records. if this happens, you must expend reasonable effort to search your device for records. next slide please. so here another point that is important to just keep in mind is that existing record retention policies apply. you may recall that the m.t.a. updated their record retention policy that the board approved a few meetings ago. there is no requirement to keep records on your personal electronic devices. you can transfer them to a government owned device and store it there. you can do this by forwarding e-mails or screen shots as text to the board's secretary and another way to kind of manage your records, if you do keep them on your devices, is to do the same by setting up an e-mail account or keep a certain device where you maintain all of your records that involve city business. next slide please. so, at the end of the day, we want to practice good e-mail and document etiquette. we want to be succinct, clear, and professional. do city b

told me that they do or is being forced on them is a school board playing games?bsolutely playing games as i said before nobody is saying that their teaching critical race theory as they would chemistry or physics they have a consultant on contract they have been on contract for three years, their whole model is education through critical race theory it is all over the document there's invoices that they show to critical race theory in their teacher trainings and all you have to do is look for the buzzwords whether it's white fragility, white privilege, oppressor versus the oppressed those of the language of critical race theory in their using it through teacher training so the teachers will bring that down to the educational level with students and that's what we've been seeing that's what we've heard from parents and we've seen dozens if not hundreds of screenshots and documents and i think the school is trying to play in a wargame and that's one of the things that is driving frustration and we cannot get honesty from our schools. mike: another issue is proposed

it is a great day at the board of supervisors for transit riders. i want to thank supervisor preston, chan, mar, peskin, and walton and haney for putting transit riders first and the transit first city. staying true by having transit first city which has been failing. now muni says we can't restore service because they don't have any drivers or operators. who wants to work for this agency? for a mismanaged agency in the board of supervisors should reject muni's budget until they have a plan to restore service to 100% pre-pandemic. it is time for muni to run in a coheir rent manner instead of incoherent manner. if you can't get the website up, how do you expect to run a subway, cable cars, buses? you can't get the website to work. it is time for muni. somebody at muni to be fired or investigated by the city attorney or the budget analyst or the da. the corruption at muni goes on and on. it is time to clean house at muni. thank you. >> thank you for your comments, sir. i will state for the record that the free muni pilot program item 12 is not an item
