transbay redevelopment project area, the resolution before you requests the approval of the board of supervisors for the sale of the transbay block 9 site. specifically the plan states the board of supervisors shall approve the sale or lease of any property acquired by the agency pursuant to the transbay option agreement in a manner consistent with the standards and procedures that govern the agency's disposition of property acquired with tax increment monies and that appear in section 33433 of the california community redevelopment law. so while the tax increment funding wasn't used to acquire the site, the process is still subject to the plan requirements and the board of supervisors' approval is requested. as supervisor kim state and rfp was issued september, 2012 and a total of three proposals were received and the team represented by tmj, et cetera were selected and the ocii commission considered and approved the disposition and development agreement for this block in december, 2014. block 9 includes 545 total units of which 436 are market rate and 109 will be affordable units. these units

the board of supervisors and lafco have been working for about 10 years on creating our cleanpowersf program. we are close to being ready to launch and august of 2013 but we couldn't find unity with the public utilities commission at that time. since we have ask ner neck next to do the report. we'll do whatever we can to do bring 100 percent renewable energy and it's something that we owe to future generations to be able to put forward measures that will reduce the impact of climate change duringoing our local part. it's been a long time struggle to keep the process going. but this week mayor lee indicated that he will be supporting clean power for moving forward in san francisco. i saw his press release about the communication program in competition with pg & e's monopoly here in the bay area. it's something that city san franciscans have been looking for and to make sure we have a clean sf program and make sure it's really in charge of greenhouse gas reductions. i'm excited about this and looking forward to working together and the mayor is excited about this too and look ing forwar

the way we did because we want to during our regular budget process give our whole entire board of supervisors along with our city departments the ability to make decisions in the context of our budget process. again that is just one example of how we responded the way that we did. the second point is there are difference responses to make for the civil grand jury report and we can include a summary and explanation for what we did. second the implementation is not recommended but within a set time frame provided. third we can say that the recommendation requires further analysis and fourth we could say that the recommendation will not be implemented because it's not warranted or reasonable and provide an explanation so i know that some of the amendments made do not follow that structure so i would really encourage that if the amendments go through and lastly i would say again based on the responses that we provided in jao and nothing just like you mentioned supervisor avalos nothing prevents an individual supervisor from going through the regular process proposing legislation or other measures

august that came from again the unanticipated end revenue the board of supervisors made the commitment according to the resolution because many of the 45ird working organization provide in some of the critical serviced and that they've been chronically under contemplated over the year from 2008 to 9 the nonprofit organization received the funding from the san francisco budget & finance committee despite absorbing the high costs and in many cases not on there since 2007 or 8 for the city's nonprofits organizations because the funding amazed to a reduction for those nonprofits negatively impacting our city's safety net and the finance that don't think them and the workers that serve those organizations for the nonprofit for profit contractors in the city they receive annually increases i could to the cip or increases of 3 percent of more this is about parity for the nonprofits compared to the for profit contractors with the city that receive those annual increases until 2013, the nonprofit contractors had not received a cost of doing business since 2007 or 8 it's about parity and entity
