i spoke with bob corker a couple minutes ago about what he thought of it. was the author of the review act. he said he thought the best way for lawmakers to register the disapproval of not getting the iaea agreement would be to vote down the iran deal and not to raise the other issues. he does not consider it an issue.

that was bob corker's bill where they took away. you have a constitutional majority. president wasn't going to declare this a treaty. what are you going to do in the senate to stop this? >> there are two important things we can do. this should have been treated as a treaty. i fought hard against corker carden when it was coming up. i introduced an amendment to have it require the approval of congress it was republican leadership who killed that. there are two things we can do, sean. number one, the most important right now is there are two people in washington, d.c. who can stop this deal and their names are mitch mcconnell and john boehner. under the terms of corker carden, it is toothless. the one tooth it has is it says it requires obama to hand over the entire deal. and it defines that as including any side deals. now, the obama administration hasn't done that. they haven't handed over the side deals with the iaea, the inspection deals that set up the weak inspection regime where iran especially inspects itself. under the terms of that legislation, then, what mcco

going to try to pass a resolution of disapproval of the iran nuclear deal sponsored by senator bob corkerhe chair of the senate foreign relations committee. earlier this summer they got the votes to sustain that veto but just this morning senator ron widen became the 41st democrat to support this iran nuclear deal and so that means that they can block this from even coming up for a vote, this resolution of disapproval. that's a big deal for the president it not have to use his veto pen. ron widen, like a lot of other democrats, are saying that essentially this is the best deal that they can get right now, that diplomacy has to be given a chance when it comes to keeping iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, and so a big deal for this president, big deal for democrats this morning. now, we should add the caveat, all 41 of these democrats have to vote to keep this from happening, to filibuster this resolution of disapproval. we'll be watching to make sure all 41 of those votes are delivered for this president. not a done deal yet but a big development at the white house. >> that's key, jim a
