and so i think bob got the conversation really fired up and started. >> i'm glad you mentioned e-commerce. what is your prognosis on that? is there really a chance for a plural lateral agreement on that? >> we've been very engaged in that. we've put forward a paper at the outset of the discussions around that plural lateral that seeks high ambition, commercially meaningful outcome for e-commerce. we want to have prohibitions on data localization, disciplines around -- to ensure that there is a free flow of information, free flow of data across borders, disciplines around countries requiring companies to give up their source code, permanent ban on taxation or duties on digital transmissions. and by the way south africa and india want to rethink the current moratorium on those duties. so we have a -- the u.s. is very engaged and we have a very high ambition approach to that. the general view is that there will be negotiation -- negotiating part of this process may begin early next year. perhaps a ministerial statement around davos. other members have lower ambitions. so how this works out s
