bob jones university hosted this event. it is an hour and a half. >> well, good evening, and welcome to bob jones university. and the series of the first of three forms on bouncing piety -- balancing piety and pragmatism, evangelical and politics. we appreciate you being with us this evening. if we could, let's begin our program of the word of prayer. heavenly father, we do thank you for the opportunity that we have here at bob jones university to learn more about our civic responsibilities and the great nation that you have blessed us to be a part of. we do pray for our nation. we pray for our elected leaders. we pray for president obama particularly, as he leads this nation, that you might grant him wisdom, and that your sovereign hand might be directing the decisions that he makes. we think of the tragedies that have happened recently, attacks on the well-being and even life of many citizens. we pray that you protect the life come and pray that those of us who know you would live godly lives will be able to influence thos

in akron bob jones, news 5. >>> the university of cincinnati is back open this afternoon after a very tense morning. someone fired a gun this morning causing an immediate lockdown. witnesses say a man pulled out that gun and opened fire while talking to a student. >> it was directed towards my friend but it was more in the air. it was a handgun. >> the ji just started freaking out and did that and ran off. >> police say there's no long ear threat but are il the school public safety director said no one was injured. >>> police are trying to identify a man they say was shot and killed in east cleveland. the report came in just after midnight and police found the man near shock avenue and plymouth playings. he later died. >>> investigators are working to figure out how human remains ended up in a a field. a man was discovered a bag with cleveland. news 5 was there as investigators put up crime tape and combed the field for evidence. police say at this time they don't know who the person is. we're working on the story right now and we'll let you know, when police release new details. >>>
