>> bob nardelli here. good to see you.ion barrels quite quickly. your sense about that as it would impact where opec feels it's got control. >> in terms of the resource base, you are absolutely right. there's a whole lot of additional production could come online. it's held back, however, by logistics, by people and by permitting. so this big logistic issue is the pipelines and the ability to move the oil or the gas to wherever the market might be. that is a constraint on opec but here's another reality opec is exploiting right now. the industry as a whole has underinvested its capital for the last five years. since the 2014 turndown in the oil price, we have seen only about 40% of reserve replacement take place because of capital constraint. opec can exploit that, because there just isn't the available oil other than let's say the permean held back by logistics or other u.s. formations which have lots of ability but remember, the pipeline issue in this country is getting worse, not better, because the environmental moveme
