joining us is bob o'donnell and our reporter. bob, i want to start with you.ave so many businesses vying for a piece of this market. how does this deal change the game? bob: it dramatically reshapes everything. you have a behemoth that makes all the little players look a lot smaller still. you have the ability and reach amazon has. there are a lot of interesting synergies between amazon and whole foods and what you can do. all of a sudden, it becomes very interesting. when you throw in the amazon device where you can tie that into your shopping as well, they have a very interesting angle that changes the nature of how we think about groceries. i think that makes it really tough for the little guys. emily: instacart is a big competitor to amazon fresh. they have a partnership with whole foods. what does this mean? >> they are an investor in instacart. competitor to amazon fresh. they've had this relationship for years. to have whole foods be a supporter of amazon is complicated for instacart. they have four years left on a five-year contract they signed with wh

o'donnell has more on all that. >> reporter: president trump's unconventional london response, sticking with his weekend routine. for hours at his golf resort spotted with peyton manning and senator bob corker. he had already offered the expected condolences. so today the president teed off on twitter. point one, we must stop being politically correct regarding the business of security for our people. point two, the president questioned the judgment of london's mayor, who described the city as among the safest. >> london, as we'll see an increased police presence today and over the course of the next few days, no reason to be alarmed. >> reporter: president trump seized on those last five words after citing the casualties. o'donnell is joining us over at the white house. kelly, what is going on here? is the president putting bob mueller on notice? >> i think what he's trying to do is say to supporters of his that there are reasons to find fault with the set up of the special counsel investigation and many onboard are hillary clinton supporters. robert mueller is emasing a team of attorneys. we may hear up to 30 and then a lot of staff who will support them. among those lawyers are people who have contributed to hillary clinton in the past. but also people who have long, strong public service records with respect to the specific kinds of legal areas that this, this probe would look at. at the same time, the president said something else that is very notable. he referred to robert mueller as an honorable man and hope fail well reach an honorable solution. the president said in the same paragraph, if you will. from the quote we just played where he referenced the hillary clinton supporters. that suggests the notion of trying to get rid of robert mueller is not front burner. it seems the president wants to raise doubts about the pr

bob mueller's job to sort that out. >> further investigations into such matters would fall on the judiciary committees in both houses of congress. nbc's kelly o'donnell in s in new jersey where president trump is spending the weekend. what is the latest that you're hearing about this potential obstruction of justice proceedings coming out of this hearing and president trump's end of the week statements? >> reporter: well, at this point, jacob, we don't know if what has been put out into the public record from james comey or other evidence that exists where bob mueller, the man who is now special counsel, he himself was former fbi director for a dozen years, someone held in high regard, if he will proceed with examining the facts to determine if there is obstruction. we just don't know where this is going to go. and james comey was careful to say he felt that he was being pressured but as the investigator, not the prosecutor, he would leave it to mueller to decide. from the white house point of view, they believe that comey's statements, in their words, vindicate the president because comey acknowledged that on multiple occasions he told the president
