"today in the bay's" bob redell is digging into how this happened. rning, and what did you find out? >> reporter: good morning to you, sam and kris. the most recent construction accident at the facebook campus involves a 77-year-old worker. now as you see in the photos released by the menlo park fire district he was work iing on th fourth floor, the roof of facebook building 21 when according to firefighters a piece of steel or decking came dislodged. that worker lost his footing and fell 10 to 15 feet. fortunately he was wearing safety rigging which prevent ed him from hitting the floor below but was still hurt and had to be taken to the hospital. the fire department tells us this worker's is menlo quint. he lives nearby in the belle haven neighborhood of menlo park. in late april of this year two other workers fell from facebook building 21, the construction site. in that accident they were harnessed to a beam that was about 40 feet up in the air. it failed and fell about 20 feet, again, while both workers were injured their safety equipment stopped
