here in san francisco, bob redell, nbc bay area news. >> her list of accomplishments are endless.er weekend highway closure, this time along the peninsula. southbound 101 will close at 10:00 tonight and will remain closed through the weekend. traffic will get heavy at times along the peninsula. we have advice for drivers. >> let's talk about where you are not driving this weekend. southbound highway 101. it's this short one-mile portion of the southbound direction out of san carlos. friday night at 10:00 p.m. through the reopening on monday, 5:00 a.m., it will be inaccessible. alternates are surface streets, state route 82. add more time because of surface street congestion. if you go farther out, 280 southbound, that will remain open and should be clear all weekend. that's a longer reroute. keep that in mind. if you come over from the east bay, big note as well. if you head south, you want to take the dunbar bridge over 84 and south or 101. you are clear of the construction. if you come over the san mateo bridge and head south, that takes you into the closure and you have to make
