bob riddell is live. that is a ridiculous situation, bob. >> reporter: there have been no arrests. police are still looking for this person who took advantage of some of the firefighters that have been working the morgan fire earlier this week. this happened sunday night. these firefighters with the fire protection district. they were out on the front lines while someone was back down in waln walnut creek at their station 7 firehouse breaking in. they found this person had gotten into their personal lockers located into their bedrooms and stole their valuables, ipads, money, watches and two wedding rings. >> it is unreal. these days and times have definitely changed. we are going to have to change the way we do things around the firehouse now. >> after that person broke into station 7, they went over to rossmoor parkway to the location of station 3, trying to breakthrough the window of a captain's bedroom. he was in there and scared this person off. firefighters assigned to station 7 say that the department was fully staffed. the station would not have been empty for 24 hours. perh

"today in the bay's" bob riddell, live at the command post in dublin with some of the personal items stolen. >> reporter: good morning, laura and john. we just heard from cal fire. they tell us they will start transitioning to mop-up of mt. diablo, effectively saying they have this fire not fully contained but certainly, it is not in a situation where it is out of control. they will start sending firefighters home. it should not come as a surprise since it has been ruffle oughly hours since we have seen the flames and smoke coming from mt. diablo. right now, they have 60% of the 3200 acres that were burned surrounded. they hope to have it fully surrounded by friday, this friday, the 13th. one reason why they still have firefighters up there not only to do mop-up but things you can't see. hot embers, sometimes logs are still burning inside. they want to have crews up there to make sure nothing would flare up. there is a lot of unspent fuel up there. they don't want anything to happen while that catches fire again. >> police are looking to the person that took advantage of some of the
