bob described it, as you can see, firefighters still have their work cut out for them this morning, the fire still burning, we could see the fire and heavy smoke from the betsy ross bridge coming over from the philadelphia side. right now, it appears as if multiple homes are affected by the flames shooting out of the roof. if you are familiar with this area, it is right near the pennsauken transit center. it is right near meadowbrook park near the train tracks, the fire started early this morning, around 2:30 a.m. at this hour we do understand one firefighter injured his ankle and was taken to cooper university hospital. we had heard another firefighter was injured. but that information has not been confirmed for us just yet. it does appear, though, that several people are displaced this morning after that fire that burned here at a home, we do see a lot of neighbors milling around, so of course, this has woken up the neighborhood. we're trying to get more information. we just approached the scene as you guys were tossing out to us. so we will try to find out more about what happened here in pennsauken new jersey with the fire, bring you the latest as soon as we
