"the washington post" fact checker said the statement was so wrong they said it deserved four pinocchios, the most you can get. that's the highest number possible for pinocchios. "the washington post" called the democrat senator's claim "simply ridiculous." the reality is the overwhelming majority of the american people

"he has protected civilians in libya and qadhafi is gone." so, obviously, we have not decimated al qaeda. al qaeda is not on the run. in fact, al qaeda is increasing everywhere across the middle east and north africa. and anybody who believes that when the black flags of al qaeda are flying over the city of fallujah, where 96 brave american marines and soldiers died and 600 wounded, that things are -- were ended -- quote -- "in iraq responsibly" obviously that is not the case. so i think we have to really understand the timing of all this. it was all part of a presidential campaign. the president of the united states in debate with mitt romney said, oh, i called it an bei

she was on "face the nation" with bob schieffer. she was asked about the security at the consolate and she also described it as substantial, security at the consolate that day. what was the basis for that? did anybody give her information that the consolate that day, security was significant, substantial and strong? because there was absolutely no evidence of that. in fact, everything found in this investigation has shown that security was absolutely lax at that consolate, unacceptably so given the prior history of intelligence at the consolate, given the prior attacks that had been made not only on the british, on the red cross. and this really was unfortunately a death trap. and so why is she then, in the context of an election not only pushing the video story -- the president as well -- but also saying the consulate security is strong, it was significant when there is no evidence of that. in fact, it all goes to the contrary. finally, you know, there's been a lot of discussion about the fact that the -- about the video. ambassado
