i go, bobby, he says, i have been waiting for you to call. and that was the beginning of a great romance. it really was. he is a tough cookie and you know what, i just took out something. i said, let me -- look, we know he's a great coach. but we don't know how great a coach. bobby knight, as you know, he coached in a place called indiana. i won't ask you how it's doing since he left. i won't ask. but it's going to do well and i hear you have a very good coach. i do, i hear you have a very good coach now. is that true? i hear you have a very good coach. but he coached the u.s. olympic team, in 1984, won the gold medal. he won three ncaa titles at a place called the university of indiana. he was put in the hall of fame in 1991.

jfk didn't want bobby to be attorney general. bobby didn't want to be attorney general.joe kennedy wanted him to be attorney general. kennedy turns to clara clifford, his campaign liaison and says please go to new york and talk to my dad to try to talk about bobby being attorney general, just not a good idea. clifford said you want me to go to new york and talk to your dad about talking about that? okay. clifford flew to new york and clifford's memoir, i had a great meal with the ambassador, and pleasantries and how well the transition was going, then i had to say mister ambassador, i have one thing we need to talk about which is i don't think it is good for jack or bobby or the administration for bobby to be attorney general and he laid out his view on that and going to clifford at the end of that, thank you very much, there was a very compelling presentation. you make some interesting points. bobby will be attorney general. clifford later said it was scary to see how he operated. it was scary to see how jack in some sense, jfk was intimidated by his dad and his dad was

bobby harrison. bobby, thank you for coming in. big day in mississippi. voters are heading to the polls. if hyde-smith wins it because the president campaigned for her yesterday? >> well, that doesn't hurt. i mean, he made two stops. i was in tupelo, that was his first stop. there was probably 5,000 people. he went from northeast of mississippi, home of elvis presley over to biloxi. where he spoke at the biloxi coliseum. there was a lot of energy there. and the race is closer than expected. and if that's the case, a lot of that is because of the comments that have come out that cindy hyde-smith has made on the campaign trail in recent weeks. we just have to see what happens today. it's going to be interesting. >> that's for sure. i want to get to the comments in just a second. some of the facts about the state of the race. it's a senate runoff. taking place days after thanksgiving. weeks after election day. it's in a state that we're talking about that trump won by 18 points but also 48% of the electricity orate is african-am. what does this add up to? >>
