. >> bobby downey and i were roommates. >> and you and sean. were part of that and you had a career in which you were doing a lot of roles but were not a big international star. and when "24" came through -- >> it changed my life. i have a picture of my daughter who was 12 years old when she was on the set. i have a picture of her graduating from nyu. not only did it represent 10 years of my career which is certainly more than 1/3 of my entire career but the success of the show is unlike anything i have ever experienced. one of the things i have found remarkable about "24," we got focused with "24," we were doing a show in america and we would sometimes forget the international success of "24." when i went to go shoot in south africa, it was huge and africa and eastern europe and big in the middle east which i found surprising. it was something that we were proud of that the show did transcend culture and language and politics, religion, all kinds of things. i have never experienced any single project like it. >> it was sad when it came to end?
