governor bobby jindahl declaring a state of emergency in the state of louisiana. a chance this depression could turn into a tropical storm by the end of the day, the name will be tropical storm lee. huge fire at a mcdonald's near san diego is believed to be caused by a natural gas explosion. they started evacuating workers after they smelled gas. one worker suffered a minor injury. it took 50 firefighters from several towns to get the fire under control. libyan rebels are gathering outside of muammar qaddafi's hometown where they've been given qaddafi's loyalists one more week, another week to surrender before launching an all out assault. originally, the rebels had given them until today to wave the white flag. it is one of the only areas under qaddafi's control. meanwhile, qaddafi released two radio messages from his hiding spot vowing not to surrender. this comes as libyan's interim leaders hold talks with leaders at u.n. in paris today. markets are tumbling around the world as investors await the monthly u.s. jobs report for august. that's due this morning. ab
