they operate many different types of boeing 737s.nd over the weekend, boy, it was a mess for the traveling public. about 600 flights canceled nationwide as the inspections happened on those particular planes. today southwest airlines says that it's canceling about 100 flights as they have put about 19 of the planes that have passed inspection back into service. but quite frankly the discount carrier saying they don't know how long this is going to take before they're able to get fully back up and operating. but, of course, safety is key here. and you know you talk about how scary this was. we heard from a lot of passengers over the weekend who say that people lost consciousness when this plane opened up because they were at such a high altitude. it got extremely windy in the cabin. and they could see the clear blue sky and the sunshine through this five foot long hole and about a foot wide hole in the plane. you know it's just really difficult to wrap your mind around and just miraculous really that no one was seriously hurt. only on
