why is it that we never heard from bolton? was it because he had a book coming out in march that he didn't want to speak out? was it because he didn't think he had the right to make the decision about whether he could testify and defy the white house from telling him not to or go along with a congressional subpoena? we have not heard from him, and that's why we spent as much time as we did this week trying to final out what was in that book because it seemed like he was someone who was actually in the room, who was there with the president talking to him, unlike many of those other witnesses that the house democrats were relying on. and it looks like, from our reporting in that book, that bolton does reveal several details about what the president was saying, how the president asked him to set up a meeting with giuliani so he could meet with zelensky as giuliani was kicking off his campaign to start digging up dirt that the president wanted. it's this fuller picture that we have of what bolton knows. but as we come to the end
