chronicle is reporting that pg&e has recruited employees to go through mountains of documents in boston at warehouses next to the cal palace, doing that as we speak. the goal is to find some evidence that the utilities gas lines are safe. their deadline is march 15. >>> a well known activist in oakland is now fighting to stop the proposed gang injunction in that city. >> this is a moment when all progressive, radical, hopefuls need to stand up and say no, we will not support these racist gang injunctions directed toward black and brown communities in the city. >> that's angela davis. she spoke last night at a rally against the gang injunction, which is being considered right now by an alameda county judge. it would restrict the activities of 40 suspected gang members in the fruitvale neighborhood. they would also face a 10:00 p.m. curfew. some of the people named in the injunction say they are not gang members. davis emerged as a prominent activist back in the '60s, advocating for civil rights and the rights of prisoners. she is now retired and a professor at uc santa cruz. >>> carwin d
