boston. you can see that's not too far off from the record. already have exceeded the record high down in providence today as we're sitting currently at 63. it is 62 in plymouth. 61 hyannis. north of boston, up through the merrimack valley, there is still some lingering cooler air. the mid 40's for december is still pretty warm but not as we are going to push that cooler air out. looking at still lingering fog here through the merrimack valley, the cape ann as well, beverly, right now has visibility of a mile. we've got some fog on cape cod as well. visibility between one and two miles there. also still tracking some showers so it's kind of a damp and muggy start this morning. the dew point temperatures are up near 60 degrees as well. you see showers on the lighter side here through the north shore. a few more moderate downpours here as you get from boston down toward norwood and back into millis. 495 stretching into northern rhode island and just south of the worcester area back toward north bridge. we're looking at a couple of showers. these are racing rapidly toward the east. i suspect they'll be off shore by about 7:00 this morning. they're coming in with this fronta
