capitol building according to metropolitan police just about a block or two away and right near the botanical gardens which is at the west end of capitol hill and at the foot of capitol hill and police got a call at about 9:30 that a car had struck a police cruiser and continued to attempt to run over capitol police officers and according to metropolitan police there were warning shots fired at the driver and he was apprehended. no reports of injury. i heard tom talk about warning shots and we'll talk to the capitol hill police when we are on the scene in a couple of minutes here and we'll hear the nature of the shots fired and there are no reports of injuries and apparently the driver is now in custody and we're led to believe that the incident has concluded and we're getting on the scene right now and trying to get some information. ? for people, brian, who haven't had the pleasure of visiting capitol hill. it's a big area. the capitol hill is there and the lawn, and independence avenue and constitution on the other. it's a very big area and the capitol police are all around it, correct? br
