finally into the santa cruz mountains, boulder creek certainly damp for you this morning.looking at snow continuing in the sierra nevada. temperatures are dropping a bit and squaw has a hold in the upper mountains because of those gusty winds. if you're planning on checking out the snow, you may have to wait because still some dicey conditions in the mountains with a winter weather advisory for the west slopes. 2 to 5 inches of snow until 5:00 tomorrow. 10 inches near the crest. when you get into the mountains, we're looking at even more than that. 1 to 2 feet possible until tomorrow morning. so the next system coming in tonight and tomorrow is a cold one. it's going to add that dry powdery snow to the mountains, which is good because we had the rain on top of all of the snow last week and we're looking at anywhere from a couple of inches to about nine inches at kirkwood. 13 inches at donner. so bay area, 50 to 60 percent of normal for our rainfall. we are adding to the snow pack today. tomorrow morning showers, partly cloudy and a nice sunny day on monday. here's the way
