bowen faces a laundry list of charges. apparently as, bowen was trying to rob vi he told her he was having a bad day and she said so was she. >> william kern is charged with assault for shooting a cadet during a training exercise. the prosecution told the jury the case is about choices, actions that violated the law, and reckless disregard for public safety. the defense contends kern's actions were not -- were a mistake. he wore his service revolver during training and said he accidentally or the wrong weapon. >> the training gun was in his pocket and the service revolver was in the holster. how do you get those two mixed up? fired theought he training weapon at a door to teach the recruits a less -- a lesson when he saw them lingering in a hallway. the judge said a reasonable officer would not have fired anything and would rather have communicated that lesson. > a lawyer for one of the u.s. naval academy midshipmen accused of sexual assault is asking for the superintendent of the academy to be removed from the case. under
