that an individual who lived in northern part of the county had someone knock on his door in his boxers and his socks who said he had been robbed and attacked by a group of individuals that were driving a land over. >> reporter: two other suspects were in on the set up and they are been arrested. >>> county police arrested a man they say attacked another man. he was arrested early new year's morning and charged with first and second degree assault. police say a 27-year-old said he was in an argument with his girlfriend and when the other man got involved punching the victim. pointing a gun and when officers saw him he ran away but they caught him. >>> and also, police and fire departments investigating an early morning fire on new year's day in brooklyn park. the fire did about $150,000 of damage and forced two elderly women and their male caregiver from the home. when firefighters put out the fire they found this. >> firefighters did find some grafitti, racial slurs painted on the out received the home. that time the county police were told. fire investigators are called to the scene.
