brad your location now? brad: yeah we've only moved about a block. i'm at gwynns falls and reisterstown road. this woman is trying to get home and this kind gentleman is letting her through. you can see that black smoke, something was just set on fire in that direction, the police are here holding their line at a stand-off. no stones -- i'm being told now that it is a car burning. that's the smoke that we're seeing down reisterstown road and i believe you're looking at that live video as well. i can spin down 180 degrees and look in the other direction on reisterstown road and see some black smoke rising up there as well. it's now dissipated but fires are being set. there was one set in the road here. you can see where i am this entire area is littered with the stuff that these people have been throwing at police officers. there's a chunk of brick. there was a tough scene out here for a long time. things have calmed down. if we take a walk down here a little bit more you can see that black smoke rising and in the distance you can see the maryland nat

brad bell is live at that scene and the latest with the investigation. brad? brad: yes scott, it's been an all day effort. this crash happened at 7:00 a.m., as you said, and just in the last half-hour, they got this road open and you can see that the tracks are -- the cars are now moving over the area where the crash was. you can see that the disturbed area, that was it. the work that was going on now and environmental crew out here cleaning up some of the oil that was spilled. this was a massive crash. the two big rigs are barely recognizable. in the foreground, the burned out remains of the truck which had been headed eastbound with a load of lumber. state police found the body of a male driver in there. behind it that twisted mess is the cab of the westbound truck. a man and his female passenger killed in there as the trucks hit head on at highway speeds. >> the impact was -- it was a devastating impact. brad: the state police investigation is just getting started but it appears that it was the westbound truck which fails to stay in its lane. this tractor-t
