our maryland bureau chief, brad bell, is live in the federal courthouse tonight with this emotional story. can see this entire family is devastated by what happened. grandparents, aunts and uncles and the child's mother were in court today as the judge ordered this man held until his home is cleared of guns on seemingly for his own safety. she walked slowly from the federal court this afternoon, her brother and other family members offered what comfort they could. yesterday, her 17-month-old son died. today, her husband is charged with involuntary manslaughter. she declined to comment will stop according to that role documents, he dropped the couple's son off at school yesterday morning as usual and went to work at the naval air station. it wasn't until 3:20, seven hours later, that he realized he had forgotten their baby in his rear facing car seat. by then, it was too late. the child was dead. the temperature reached 85 and lexington park. the car was closed and locked. the aeronautical engineer seen in this 10-year-old photo was arrested this morning. he is described as a pillar of his
