joining us now from the greenwich economic form is brad jacobs, ceo of xpo logistics.sett is also on the ground. >> you ran xp yo, you are on your way out as ceo but that doesn't mean that you have not had an intimate view of what the supply chain issues have looked like up until late. what kind of issues are there still causing in the economy, to what extent is it still creating an inflationary force? brad: supply chain has gotten better, not to where it was before covid but a lot better. freight rates have come down a little bit, particularly ocean and air rates. there are two parts of the problem, transporters like ourselves, that has gotten better, but then the manufacturers. there is still a backlog for chips, and that is slowing down the economy. sonali: if a lot of the supply chain issues have started to moderate a little bit in some areas, where are the biggest issues for you, what is the ultimate outcome in the next 12 months? brad: the economy has slowed down, for sure. different people have different views of how much it has slowed down, but the consensus is
