johnson. elias: meteorologist brad edwards joins us again with a look at your forecast. brad: weather adlib: a large winter storm is going to impact nearly all of iowa today warranting a state-wide winter storm warning. we are going to see a combination of snow, sleet and ice depending on the time of day and location across the state. the central and northeast iowa with 6 to 10 inches possible stretching from des moines past waterloo. ice and sleet will fall heaviest across southern and eastern iowa with ice accumulations of 0.1" to 0.5" possible. the change over between snow, sleet and ice will happen throughout the morning and early afternoon, but by the late afternoon and evening all of iowa should primarily be seeing snowfall, and this is also when the heaviest snow totals will start accumulating. on top off all of this the strong today with possible causing blowing snow and low visibility. temps will hover in the low 30s during the day today, but after that we tank our temps into the mid to low 20s and even the teens by the end of thanks brad-- now outside cameras.
