the two educational gardens are on the ground floor on brandon street. we exceed the requirements on those spaces alone. their functioning at grade. the court yard will be part of the sequence. the site slopes 7 feet approximately from brandon street down to stanford street with that p a 65 feet limit of being efficient with our loading dock but craft lee fully putting in an english basement. it benefits from that court yard from the lottery level up to the sky to get daylight deep into that plan. so that slopes makes it a split-level building on stanford street. so on brandon street we have 7 foot retail space colored yellow on the gene and further back we're a split-level so the grade goes from high to low. one of the innovations that was put forward is would we put retail on stanford street but it would be challenging for the retail but we'd lose twice the amount of space because it would top two floors. we think that brandon is a great opportunity for retail and a stanford we've optimized for room and it would be challenging to insert a space there t

why did michael brandon hill do it? was he thinking. with me now exclusively is the suspect's brother tim hill. thank you for joining me. obviously, incredibly difficult time for you, your family and you're brother. let me first ask you when did you hear what happened and where? >> shortly after i got off work -- i can't say shortly. i took me a nap, went home, went out with friends, got a phone call from my sister-in-law telling me that immediately needed to check my facebook. she said that brandon, i'll call him michael, was responsible for the school shooting. >> were you surprised? >> i was a little bit, but over the years of growing up with him it almost seemed like eventually he would do something like this, but not to this magnitude. >> you called him brandon, not michael, right? >> yes, sir. >> so let's call him brandon. you grew up together, you're two years older than him. both your parents sadly died. what was he like as a kid, and when did things go wrong for him? >> he was like any other kid. we went out, played outside, pl

herbert and katherine are charged with third degree murder following the death of their 8-month-old son brandon this spring. >> instead of caring and nurturing him, they ultimately caused his death by praying over his body instead of taking him to the doctor. >> and unbelievably, this isn't the first time this has happened to the shiebls. in 2009 their 2-year-old son kent died. the parents did not seek medical care to treat him. >> i tried the previous case two and a half years ago and the circumstances from that case to this case are eerily similar. >> in the first case they were found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of kent. the prosecutor asked for prison time but the judge opted for probation and allowed the couple to move back to their home with their seven other children. the judge did order them to seek medical care for their children in the future. joanne prosecuted the case then and will prosecute this case as well. when the judge gave probation, you must have been very upset.

commissioner brandon can speak to this better than i can. to reactivate the pier 70 site which is almost 68 acres. it's been a very long time since that property saw the types of public -- that used to be there when she was in active shipyard, especially during world war ii. and it's part of choosing for city development as our developer of the waterfront property there, one of the things that was very attractive about them, among many, was their sense of place making and the i woulderctiontion that they've been doing spearheading that and some of their other development projects, and certainly a big part whatv we hope to see at pier 70 to have that dream realized. so, they've already begun, even though they are not officially holders of the property. they've had some great ideas that they brought forward to the port to implement. and the first of which is to hold something called the urban air market. this coming sunday, sunday, august 18th, it will be at pier 70 in building 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for those of you that are not fami
