that victim spoke to nbc 10's brandon hudson about how the suspect climbed on to her balcony to invade her property. >> reporter: this man has put one temple student's life on edge. >> i got out of the shower to get changed and i saw a flash through my window. >> reporter: the 20-year-old woman didn't want to show her face but shared her story, she spotted a peeping tom outside her room sunday night. her boyfriend tried to chase the y away. >> i don't know who he is. i think it's just a fascination with girls in general. >> reporter: she said her peeping tom was able to get through this gate. since this incident we found out a leasing office has put in a new lock as a security measure. this happened off-campus, that's why the philly police are on the case. we checked out how similar crimes happened on or near campuses. only one harassment-type crime was reported off-campus last year compared to the 18 on campus. another student said she felt safe. police said the suspect appears to be 20 years old, 6'2" with long brown hair and 170 pounds. >> i do believe it's a student who's doing thi

nbc10's brandon hudson spoke to a relative and has the story. >> reporter: a very stressful christmas for the family of a 71-year-old woman and her 5-year-old great granddaughter. that older woman lives in this neighborhood here. her grandson says she always keeps her phone on her and calls wherever she is, but she hasn't called in the last few days. tonight nbc 10 got these photos of barbara briely and her great granddaughter la'myra. the two were last seen in a car barbara drove from may's landing to an exxon gas station in ruther glen, virginia, christmas eve. we spoke to her grandson, who told us about the family's last phone conversation with the 71-year-old. >> they spoke to her while she was in traffic, and then she said that she was lost. but she takes that route all the time. >> reporter: this man says a group of relatives drove south to search foretheir missing loved ones on kroil. they're looking for a toyota rav4 with the new jersey license place c 80 els. checking out a map it appears barbara and la'myra made it halfway through their strip. the last place they were seen w

. >> nbc10's brandon hudson is with us with the charges the suspect might face. >> reporter: at the moment we're waiting to see if police will walk the suspect out of this building across the street, which is the accident investigation division of philadelphia police. we're told the charges for this 24-year-old suspect could range from vehicular homicide to leaving the scene of an accident. when we first saw the car, police say is tied to the hit-and-run which killed 8-year-old jayanna powell, it was leaving an auto body shop in fraser. our crew saw the altima, busted front end and all. the owner of the shop told nbc10 off camera a female brought the car in on november 19th, the day after the crash that killed powell. late tonight, police arrested a 24-year-old man after executing search warrants on the car and at a home in philadelphia. it's another step toward closure for powell's family. the 8-year-old's mom spoke from her heart yesterday as the reward for information reached $25,000. >> i had to lay my baby to rest yesterday. the hardest thing in my life. i don't get a prom. i don't ge

nbc 10's brandon hudson reports. >> reporter: our nbc 10 camera wasn't allowed inside of the high school for the meeting but it was to discuss the numerous fights going on on campus, including some at this park across the street. this cell phone video shared with nbc 10 is one of the reasons frustrated parents want security changes at woodrow wilson high school. one of the students getting punched several time is janet rivera's 15-year-old son. we spoke to her through a translator. >> he was punched so hard that he lost consciousness for about an hour. >> reporter: here are photos of the aftermath. bruises and cuts over the student's eye. parents say the fights are common. >> kids that don't speak english well are targeted. >> that is correct. >> it led to a letter sent from the principal to parents who met with school staff and camden county police. the school district superintendent says they are in creasing security on and around campus. >> we were told that these attacks may appear racially motivated. >> we do understand that it is falling across racial and ethnic lines. >> reporter:
