brandon tate brown's attempt to get his illegal gun. this not just because the police said so but because the facts were confirmed by the contemporaneous accounts of several civilian eyewitnesses. by video, by physical evidence and by dna testing. the witnesses didn't know each other. they had different advantage points and gave statements almost immediately after the incident. on the early morning of december 15th, at about 2:45 a.m. mr. brandon tate brown was driving on frankfurt avenue in the mayfair section of our city. he was driving with his daytime running lights on but not his headlights. we have video showing the car. police signaled him to pull over and he did. mr. gillisen. after the police approached the car, one on each side one of them saw a gun between the passenger seat and the console. the gun was recovered there immediately after shooting and photographed. dna testing of the gun was positive for mr. brandon tate brown. now, this is a very difficult car stop scenario. the officer indicated to his partner that there was
