brandon ganoe live. the big concern was the morning commute. so how was it earlier? >> better than expected would be an understatement. remember all weekend state leaders were saying traffic was like during a snowstorm twice a dame. it was nothing like that. it was light, traffic with light delays and i'll show you where. the stra toll booths have been demolished so crews are way ahead of schedule. this is the first weekday we're told demolition took place during the commute and traffic was smooth. in fact, state leaders say transcription was 6% to 10% lighter meaning they heeded the warnings or changed the commute. over the next few weeks they tear down the center booths as the pike goes to all electronic repaved. >> it was super easy today. there was no traffic. i don't know what was happening. >> i left earlier, and i was surprised to see there was not a lot of traffic. i guess everybody else left early, too. >> now, state leaders say that, you know, it may not be as smooth tomorrow, though. that's what they're worried about. the governor said earlier right now th
