an eastern iowa man has pleaded guilty for robbing a bank back in july. on the 29th, brandon brown went into the f-and-m bank in monticello, pointed a gun at a bank employee and took more than 4-thousand dollars in cash. earlier this week, brown pleaded guilty to the crime. he now faces up to 20 years in prison. in january, iowa lawmakers will head to des moines for the next legislative session. a majority republican -- which means many g-o-p-backed bills could be passed this sesson. one with a lot of leader support are abortion-related bills. proposed legislation in iowa could reduce the window of time when a woman can get an abortion. another bill would force a woman to wait at least 24 hours before having an abortion or require counseling about the procedures' health effects. after black friday shopping, football fans will be watching the hawks and the huskers. there's a trophy involved - and years of nailbiters.every year, this series gets bigger and bigger. twelve months ago - the hawks won in lincoln to claim a big ten west title - this year - iowa's aiming for a strong
