let's go live to brandon hudson where people are still without power. >> reporter: a spokesman for peco says they are working 24/7 to restore power to its customers. they had 1500 out-of-town crews working with their peco crews. they plan to work through the storm in conditions like this, as long as it's safe. the belle view family hopes this is the last night they have to rely on a generator. >> i've got my refrigerator going. a small heater. >> reporter: with another nor'easter on the way, they hope a peco crew can get to their block. robert has 20 gallons of gas for his generator on standby. they are among the thousands of peco customers still without power. tonight, kristin decided to warm up in her mom's car. >> it is freezing and i've been sleeping on the floor in my living room in front of the fireplace for the past how many days? >> reporter: while the family uses a generator, their neighbors on this side of the street don't have power. but you walk across the street and see this block here. they all have their lights on. >> knowing a lot of people are still without power, it's
