national border patrol council president brandon judd joins us now.ere with you at the border. i have never seen anything like this. how often does this happen? >> so these tactics have been used multiple times. but this is about timing. what we're seeing right now, it has everything to do with timing. these are people that are trying to evade apprehension. they are not giving up. they are not wanting to be taken into custody. what the smugglers do, what the cartels do is they flood our resources with the number of people. we have to then take them into custody. it takes our agents out of the field. these vehicles are not meant do be disguised from border patrol agents. we know what our vehicles are we know how many vehicles we have in the field. when we don't have the resources in the field, these vehicles are meant to disguise against other law enforcement agencies. that's what they are trying to get across. they are trying to get undetected from other law enforcement agencies. not from us. they know when we're not in the field. they know when they

i spoke with border control council president brandon judd yesterday about your efforts.g flooded because governor greg abbott using his authority has done so well in the state of texas. we don't have a governor in the state of arizona that's willing to do the exact same thing so you're not going to see a secure border in arizona. maria: i mean, you're trying hard to protect texas in the middle of all of this. how would assess the open border and its impact on texas today after title 42 went away? >> well, as you probably reported on the day that title 42 was lifted, there was video showing how texas was stopping and repelling people who were trying to enter texas illegally. we have razor wire, mile after mile after mile of razor wire that prohibit people from being able to enter into texas in the first place and behind the razor wire are national guard soldiers and public safety officers making sure those people do not get in. every day we're adding more of the razor wire. in addition, we have bouys in the water to prevent people from crossing the middle part of the rio
