joining me today is the keynote speaker, celebrity dog trainer, brandon mcmillan. thanks for being here. i know you are busy. congratulations on the show lucky dog. you are starting your 7th season. >> not a baby anymore. >> when does it start? >> september 28, saturday. different times in different cities. check her local listings. >> it is amazing what you do pairing up dog parents with dogs. >> i don't look as dogs as pets. i look at them as assets to your life. a lot of people that get dogs for me have lost something, whether the dog is going to be an emotional support animal or a therapy dog are often a service dog. they are feeling a huge void in their life from something they once had. i look at the dog as an asset to the wife. >> why is it so important for people to adopt a pet? >> just in america alone, we have upwards of over 1 million dogs euthanized because they can't find homes in shelters. this is not happening in places we've never heard it. it is happening in every city and small town in our country. it is an epidemic and we don't talk about it that
