police were soon able to focus on hamilton and his high school mate brandon smith who is locked up as well. a 14-year-old is also in custody. overnight in the 2800 block of midvale hamilton's parents surrendered him to a heavily armed contingent of police. >> they saw the father, they actually talked to the father. the father said he's not here but he called the mother who lives up in the west oak lane area and they arranged for a meet in the 2800 block of midvale avenue. >> reporter: hamilton and smith are charged here as adults. both police say have prior arrest records for robbery. during the police investigation a raid on the girard avenue home of the 14-year-old yielded a large cache of weapons including ass salt rifles and handguns. >> obviously we'll turn the information over to the atf and they'll start an investigation to try to find out where these guns are and how they're getting them. >> reporter: some of stuhlman's neighbors are in shock and word of the final arrest is little relief. >> just very traumatizing for all of us. that's all. >> reporter: the suspects are tellin
