at the center of the storm, new recruit brandon vandenburg. he's been in a relationship with her. they were drinking together at the tin roof that night. with him are his teammates, 19-year-old brandon banks. 19-year-old nashville native cory batey and 18-year-old sophomore jaborian "tip" mckenzie. all four are seen entering dorm room 213 with the woman, staying inside for 30 minutes. two days after the alleged are together again not for just think it's so they can get their stories straight. brandon banks is called up, but he's not biting. >> what was your involvement inside the room? >> i ain't touch that girl. other than moving her. >> who did touch her? >> i didn't see anything. >> i get what you are doing. sticking to the story and not wanting to sell out your teammate or snitch. if that's the story you want to stick with. roll those dice, buddy. because i'm telling you, it will end up bad for you. >> reporter: mayo also questions other players who were not in the room, but seen in the hallways at the dorm that night. they tell consistent accounts of seeing the unconscious col

so his co-defendant, cory batey and this man, brandon vandenburg, were convicted on several counts ofe. vandenburg was convicted on additional counts of tampering with evidence and unlawful photography. that would obviously point to all the pictures and video of the attack. their sentencing is scheduled for march the 6th. and they're facing several years, many years. there are two others involved here as well, allegedly. two other ex-football players still awaiting their trial for rape and sexual battery. after the verdict was read, the victim's attorney did some reading of his own. an emotional statement that came from the young woman who was at the heart of this case. and that statement read in part, quote, i want to remind other victims of sexual violence, you are not alone, you are not to blame. she may never have known of any of this. she knew nothing the next morning when she awoke, battered, bruised and covered in vomit. she knew nothing. it was the video that told the story. let's bring in our legal experts to discuss this case. paul callan and mel robbins. paul, i begin with
