we were on the branson show boat bell. >> so you looked out, over the water. guess did the weather come on that quickly, that storm did it come just like that? >> you could see it approaching, but as we were getting ready to get on the showboat, the water was all choppy and wavy. so i went over to look out the window and as everybody else, and then we looked to our left and that's when we had seen the duck. and then we seen another one coming but the one that sunk it was having trouble. you could tell that it couldn't go very fast. he kept sinking down in the water a little bit. the waves went over the top of it. so i videoed it as much as i could for as long as i could before it went behind the showboat and that's where it sank. i didn't see any of that. >> i understand that someone on your boat, one of the crew members had said, well these kind of boats, these duck boats they can withstand this stuff. you know this -- they'll be just fine. is that what you were thinking? >> well, that's what the person had said. but i knew better. just the way that the water

emergency dive crews searching table rock lake after a tour boat known as a duck boat sinks near branson. at least 13 people confirmed this dead this morning. officials say four are unaccounted. we have video of this boat as it is sinking. i want to warn you, it's very difficult to watch. look at this. you see the boat violently rocked by the storm and the waves, the winds picking up. the area under a severe thunderstorm warning at the time. we know that 31 people were on board. we are told children are among the dead. diane gallagher joins me now with the latest. they're in there searching for survivors if they can find them, right? >> reporter: that's right. poppy, the governor said at this point finding survivors, the odds are not in their favor right now and four people who are missing. they're searching for those people. the good news for those divers is the weather conditions cooperating for them to continue that search. again, the bad news is as you saw in that video those violent, choppy waters would make it very difficult to survive overnight a. key question we have right now is

our kaylee hartung joins us now in branson. thank you for being here.vivors say that they were told, yep, there are life vests. they're over there, but there's no need to wear them. is that right? >> reporter: that's right, poppy. survivors from this duck boat tragedy telling us that the crew said the life jackets are just above your head, held on by a snap, but don't worry, you won't need them. listen to how survivor tia coleman described that exchange. >> he did say something about life jackets. he said, above you are your life jackets. there's three sizes. he said, i'm going to show you where they are. but you won't need them. so no need to worry. so we didn't grab them. >> reporter: last thursday, tia coleman lost nine of her family members, including her husband and her three children when that duck boat capsized and sank right here in table rock lake, amid -- near hurricane-force winds, poppy. that salvage operation set to get under way shortly. though investigators tell us it could take a while, this boat 80 feet deep in the lake. >> we're lookin
