i have been honored to works as part of the branstad and reynolds commission in iowa as well as the commissionf ageing. across iowa and the nation and our many ageing networks including aarp that is here with us today. and it's something that we work on every day. i provided some testimony of three different scenarios that we have in the state of iowa. the first is an older woman who was actually acquainted, a guardian conservative or ship a took advantage of that and ended up in a long-term care facility and was going to be discharged because of lack of payment. we stepped in and legal steps were taken to end that conser conservator guardianship. she already lost a lot of her assets and had a long-term impact. number two, is part of that sweet heart scam. an individual who was widowed that developed a relationship online and ended up that there was a cost involved with that of many thousand dollars. as she continued through that relationship. what i would like to share with you today is a case that i actually was very involved in. the insurance commission actually has been holding some fraud
