shartia brantley is watching the bonds and other news coming out of cnbc's headquarters. good morning, shartia. >> good morning, scott. futures are mixed this morning after a down day on wednesday. stocks fell across the board as investors were less than impressed. traders are eyeing europe. there was a strong demand for the spanish auction of government bond this morning. asian markets fell overnight and european markets are mixed this morning. we get data today on unemployment filings in a few minutes and existing home sales. and there's a ton of earnings including bank of america. morgan stanley, dupont, travelers and verizon. the dow falling 82 points to 13,032 and the nasdaq losing 11 to 3031. american airlines plans to cut 1,200 nonunion jobs as it tries. american airlines filed for bankruptcy in november. the cuts affect baggage handlers, sky caps and gate agents. the carrier is also closing a reservation center in arizona and clubs at washington dulles airport and in kansas city. american already announced plans to shed 1,300 union workers earlier this year. and t
