we had commissioner bratton on. the commissioner remade the way the u.s. law enforcement agencies respond to active shooter trainings. he has the force he put into play and the n.y.p.d. continues to fine tune as far as people to be able to deploy with significant weapons in a serious amount of training to be able to respond to they'd type of incidents. they're going to be posted at major media outlets as we have reported. so i think law enforcement now, there is generally an accepted practice of when you respond to an active shooter as dangerous as it can be to the officer arriving, you need to go in and you need to engage that suspect. that's what the n.y.p.d. is trained -- i've been on the training missions with them so to speak so they're trained to go in there and go after the person. it's not surprising to me there was pretty quick apprehension in this case of somebody they believe is responsible for it. i'm sitting in new york and the shooting is happening in annapolis. we're getting briefings as best we can, as best as information comes out. of cour
